Farmers Market - NOW OPEN
Friday: 2 to 5 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. to noon
The market is open Fridays from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:00 to noon, offering fresh produce grown on site by our students. Items may include our DC greens, arugula, tomatoes, kale, zucchini, herbs, sweet and hot peppers, cauliflower, broccoli etc.
Visitors will also find frozen prepared meals, bread, honey, jams and preserves from the Pantry store and Bistro ‘67.
The Farmer’s Market is located at the W. Galen Weston Centre for Food in our outdoor classroom area on the south side of the building.
PLEASE NOTE- No cash will be accepted. Credit or Debit only.
Community-supported Agriculture (CSA) connects producers and consumers to share the bounty of local fields. At Durham College (DC), our CSA offers consumers the opportunity to order weekly the harvest of the W. Galen Weston Centre for Food (WC) gardens, which includes a fresh bag of produce with in-season fruits and vegetables, specialty feature products and preserves.
The DC Pantry CSA bag is built, packaged and available for pick-up at our Farmers Market. Items will change regularly depending on produce and Pantry product availability that week. Follow Centre for Food on social media for updates on what you can expect to find in your bag.
