COVID-19 preventative closures of Bistro ’67 and Pantry

Dear valued customers,

In light of ongoing and evolving COVID-19 preventative measures being taken across the country, including the state of emergency declaration in Ontario, Bistro ’67 and Pantry are now closed until further notice.

This action is part of the larger campus closure undertaken by Durham College (DC), which includes the Whitby and Oshawa campuses as well as DC’s Pickering Learning Site. It is also a natural progression of the precautionary measures taken earlier with the health and safety of our guests, students and employees in mind.

Unfortunately, as a result of the campus closure and the teaching-learning model that define both Bistro ’67 and Pantry, we are unable to move to a takeout/delivery-only model that is being adopted by many other restaurants and stores.

DC continues to actively monitor the COVID-19 situation and its potential impact on our community. On behalf of the entire Bistro ’67 and Pantry team, I wish you and your loved ones good health. We look forward to being able to welcome you back and serve you in due time.
